For Me, I have the most memories with Super Mario 64... it dominated most of my early childhood... it and Super Mario All Stars.
Trying for eight years to get all the stars definitely leaves a dent in the old memory bank

Super Mario World was my favorite childhood gaming memory. Either that or watching my older cousin beat the first three Castlevania games.

In before Terrisus!  ....well, I better not steal it from him I guess... >_>; I'll just sayyyyyyy....gah. Now I don't know.  Well, more or less most SNES and N64 games. Genesis games too if only including the Sonic games of course. :p More or less, any game that took me at least 2 weeks to beat originally, and were fun to play by myself or with other people during that 8~16~64-bit era. So many solid games back then... |

I'd play that with my uncle, my parents, and my siblings every summer when we visited grandparents.

I never Played tetris attack myself very much, But I have Many memories of watching mom play it for HOURS on end. Good memories too. |

I never Played tetris attack myself very much, But I have Many memories of watching mom play it for HOURS on end. Good memories too. =) My parents would play Tetris Attack! for hours also. I loved seeing them just enjoy playing games together, get all playfully competitive, and laugh. It doesn't happen anymore, really... They're too busy and we don't have games like that in our house. That's the main reason I want Tetris Attack! to be a VC release. |

Man, there are so many!  I remember when my father and I were watching TV once, and a commercial for Metroid and Kid Icarus came on. I told my father, "Hey, those games look kind of cool!" The next day my father brought those games home after work. We played Metroid a ton! We'd take turns after we died. Coincidentally, this is how I first got into Metroid. But the day my father and I finally beat Metroid, and found out Samus was a girl, was sooo funny. I remember my father going "Holy crap" and then I started jumping up and down on the couch, with my fist in the air, yelling "Yeah! Girl power!"  There's also the times when my father and I would play Contra (NES) together, and how that game caused me to say my very first curse word. One time we were playing, we made it to the last stage, and we both are on our last continue and last life. My father died in the middle of the stage, threw his controller on the ground, and said "SHIT!" So, it was up to little 'ol me to beat the game, and a little later, I also died. What did I do? I slammed the controller on the ground and yelled "SHIT!" My father laughed ... but my mother didn't find it so funny!  I also have fond memories of playing Super Metroid (  ), Super Mario World, and the Donkey Kong Country games. I could go on and on. Super Metroid still remains my favorite game ever, Super Mario World is my favorite Mario game, and I never get tired of running through the DKC games again. I remember my best friend at the time got Super Mario World just because I wanted to. I used to get mad at her because she used to play it right in front of me, yet wouldn't let me play. She was such a bully. But I did so many chores around the house to earn enough money for the Super NES, Super Mario World, and Super Mario All-Stars bundle, and eventually my father said, "Okay, you earned enough, I'll pay for the rest." I knew it was because my father wanted the SNES too. I also remember I got a different Donkey Kong Country game for Christmas every year. Rare was clever releasing DKC1-3 right around the end of November, perfect holiday games to get for sure! |

The first 2 games that come to mind would be Super Mario Bros 3 and Excite bike. My brother and I would sit in front of our old clunker tv and play and play and play until our mom yelled at us lol... I guess Tales of Symphonia now qualifies as a legacy game too.. I had a ton of fun going through that on my own when it first came out, and then again with Alex recently as a team, trying to fill up our monster book  (we still need to finish that, hun!) |

Oh man, I have so many memories associated with gaming. I remeber when I was 9 or 10, my mom worked nights and my older sister watched me and my younger sister often. I would stay up until the early morning hours playing Castlevania 2. I remember several times laying there in front of the tv playing until I couldn't hold my eyes open. I would pause the game and sleep for a while and then, when I would wake up, I would unpause the game and just continue playing.
Another memory that comes to mind was when I was 15. I spent alot of time playing my SNES then and I remember getting a gift certificate from Bockbuster Video. I rented Secret of Mana and finished the game before it was due back.

There are a whole bunch of different games that I have a number of different memories with for a whole variety of reasons. Hard to pin down a specific game or even really narrow it down too much.
Super Mario Bros. 1 would probably be the best answer because, well, I do have a bunch of memories with it, and have had it the longest, so, that probably works out. Although, Chrono Trigger is probably pretty close to it.
There are a whole bunch of other games though. In no particular order, Kid Niki, The Goonies 2, Super Mario World, Earthbound, Lufia 1, Super Mario 64, The New Tetris, and a number of others, could go on for a while I'm sure.
Video games definitely make for some great memories, that's for certain.

Game? There is no way I could pick one game. So, you get a bunch.
Zelda: A Link to the Past dominated a lot of my early life, along with Illusion of Gaia, Lufia 2, and Chrono Trigger. Zelda: Link's Awakening also occupied plenty of my time, and a bit later on OgreBattle 64 became a favorite. And while I still haven't completed the game, I also spent a ton of time with Final Fantasy 3/6. Earthbound too.
Now, I suppose I'll end this post before I list off every game I own.
