 Wow, that's pretty awesome.
 I wonder if this works if you use a foreign Ditto, then it would make it easier to breed a shiny whatever.

Sweet. I'll totally be trying this whenever I get back into Diamond.
I tend to randomly go intense on old games a lot, so it'll happen eventually.

I found what appears to be a glitch while trying this.

I had a Japanese Gastly and a female of my own, but the Everstone wouldn't carry the nature down. I tried it with a bunch of different females and different stones, but it always acted like she wasn't holding one. I'm wondering if the traded Gastly was hacked or something.

I got a European one after and that worked correctly.
