How's it going? I'm currently in Veilstone city. I haven't taken on the gym yet. I've been grinding my luxio & staravia.  I'm really enjoying the game. Things are similar but different enough to be cool. I haven't made a single transfer to or from the game yet. I'm enjoying the challenge that way.

I just beat the Eterna city gym leader. I'm trying really hard not to get too far ahead of my mom. I'm really enjoying it so far. Like you said, it's just different enough to not be exactly like D/P. The only transfers thelat I've made were that I restarted the game a couple of times so that I could have all of the starters. I don't think I'm going to transfer any over until I have beaten the game. Other than the three starters, I have a Kadabra and a Staravia.

I started it the other day. Then I accidentally hit the power slider button thing before saving. Oops.
I played this morning but lost to my rival at the first battle and restarted.
Yeah, I suck at video games.
I'll try playing again when I'm working my lower body at the gym. It's good distraction from quadriceps pain. =D

I'm heading towards Eterna.I really thought the game would be almost exactly like d/p but it's so different. It's like they changed the whole dialog and i think even the layout of some areas. The friendly rival kid is like 10 times as hyper XD

at victory road now. gonna train my other pokes up to level 50...and will try to at least get some pokes from other people via gts or you guys or somewhere else.

I'm taking is super slow this time around, it took me 17 hours to beat the E4 in the last game but I'm just getting to sunny shore city and logged my 44th hour.
Currently, I have a:
Honchkrow (58)
Umbreon (55)
...as my two best Pokemon, talk about unbalanced! Oh well, not for competitive yet until I beat the game and re-hash their stats.
I've also done a bunch of egg hatching/breeding and other grinding with other Pokemon. And finally caught giratina yesterday... (that music is so damn AWESOME)

i am starting a file on my Platinum version which my girlfriend bought for me last week. i know i wanna transfer some over to that file, like one of my shaymin... though i forget which level they are, so it might be too strong for me to start off the game with it... anyway, i will begin a file on that in the near future...  |

I was going to buy Platinum for myself, but when Heart Gold/Soul Silver were announced, I decided not to. I there are other things I'd rather devote my time to than replaying the same adventure again when there's going to be a Gold/Silver remake (as I never played the originals).
It is tempting though.

I've managed to beat the Elite Four, and got the National Dex. I got Heatran, too, and am using a TRU Regigigas to get the Regis.
