It's quite nice of em' to offer a free 1000 points to spend on the DSi Shop!  "North America will get 1000 free Nintendo Points when entering the DSi shop. This offer will be available until October 5th." - According to GoNintendo.

For the points,  100 basically equates one dollar and were getting 1000 -- thats a free 10 dollars.  Which is kind of nice!

I don't really know what to expect from the DSi Shop and I haven't really researched much on it.  I'm excited   I already have my down payment of 185 dollars (Trade in's ftw)

Anyone else plan on getting the DSi with in the next six months?

I am very... very... very tempted to do so. I'm 90% sure I will... however until the DSi is in my hands, anything can happen between now and then. ^^;

That... And I still need to get Mario Kart Wii... And Pokemon Platinum... And so many other groovy things.

Yes!  Platinum has enough different things to make it actually worth it.  I'm not too sure about MKWii though,  I'd sell you mine if I could XD.  I play it very little and wasn't intrigued to play it after I unlocked several (not all) characters.

DSi for the very much win. 8D
