Alex and I went down to Gamestop yesterday. Although the trip was punctuated with cries from Chicky  ("But there's no SLIDE at this game store! I want to go to the OTHER game store!!! *cry*"  ) we had fun, and reserved some games. Oh, and I told the employees they were sadly lacking a slide. They responded that they'd never get any work done if they did have one 


So we reserved Star Ocean 4 & 2 copies of Pokemon Platinum. Alex says the 3rd installments of the pokemon games are pretty cool and tend to have story twists. I'm not expecting much of a change, but it should be fun nonetheless. This coming from someone who owns 3 copies of her own D/P games. Yes. Alex has one  - which I didn't count.
 


I keep hoping for some info on a new mario game. Even just tidbits of something that is a year+ away, I'd like to hear what they've got in the works. Also I'd loooooove to hear something about more NIS games for the wii. More Disgaea games for Wii or 360!

What games are you guys looking forward to- for any system? Why?

 

I just picked up Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon today. I also picked up Chrono Trigger for the DS recently as well. I'm going to pickup Platinum when it comes out. Fire Emblem is pretty amazing from what I've seen so far. Chrono Trigger was kind of an impulse buy after reading some reviews, but I'm really happy with it. Platinum is going to be my first 3rd installment of any Pokemon game. I'm basically going to buy it because it feels like it has been a lot longer between D/P and Platinum than previous generations.

What game stores have slides at them?

I've never played any Phantasy Star games.

I'm looking forward to Platinum because I hoard video games and that will make my pokémon video game collection almost complete. (I'm missing Red D: ).

I want to work at a game store with a slide! XD
I might buy Platinum when it comes out, but I dunno yet. It'll probably be a last minute decision either way lol
