I'm sure many of you will remember me going "Oh I'm so getting a lite now!" every time there was a new announcement or color released. Well looks like I don't have a choice now.



Of course, with it being as old as it is, I decided to try to fix it myself. Simply just install a new screen right? Well, after several weeks, both being being too busy adjusting to a job and unsuspected surprises (Go, go, Truck deciding not to start!), and several more weeks of my package being hassled through customs, which is ironic since I ordered it from said site to avoid having it come from Hong Kong, my new screen and Tri-wing screwdriver (which I found out I didn't even need!) finally arrived!



For whatever reason, after installing it as instructed to by all the various guides on the web, the top screen is pure white. Thinking it might be a defective screen, I reconnected the previous screen, which would display stuff just with a giant blot in the middle of it, and was treated with the same result, nothing but white.



Thankfully the bottom screen still works, so I should be able to transfer my Wi-Fi settings and ID to the new one no problem, which should keep any of the games that are picky about it from yelling at me.
