Hey guys.

So I had an idea ... and actually, I did a thread like this on NSider, so why not try to give it a go here? Anyways, the rules are really simple: someone posts a screenshot, then someone comes in and names what game the screenshot is from. If the person guesses the game shown in the screenshot correctly, then it's his/her turn to post the next screenshot for everyone to guess. To make things somewhat smooth, there should be only one "active" screenshot to guess in the thread at a time. Also, the next screenshot should only be posted if the correct game was said for the screenshot. If the answer was wrong, then other people can still guess what game the screenshot is from. If necessary, wait for the original poster of the screenshot to confirm whether your answer is correct. Obviously, if you're confident you've said the right game, then you don't have to wait for a confirmation. If for whatever reason, a confirmation is not given and is kind of needed and causes the thread to get held up, then someone can just post another screenshot to keep it going. Finally, if the screenshot is stumping people, then hints can be given by the original poster of the screenshot.

A TIP: Save the screenshot to your computer, rename it to something that doesn't have the game title in the name, then re-upload it. Obviously, if the screenshot is saved as SMB.jpg or whatever, people might say "OH, SUPER MARIO BROS.!" Of course, a game of that calibur would be easy to guess anyway, but you guys get what I'm saying.

Oh, the games can come from any console/handheld/whatever. Just try not to stump anyone TOO hard to the point where everyone runs away from this thread. Also, the screenshots can be partials/zoomed in if you feel the whole screen capture would make it too easy to guess.
Hopefully this works well and is fun, and all that good stuff.
I'll go ahead and start. It's a fairly easy screenshot, especially if you know me, but whatever. It's just to get things started!

READY, SET, ..... GO!

Tyler got it, even though he didn't say the actual game title. But I'll give it to him. It's from Super Metroid.
Anyways, go ahead Tyler, your turn to post a screenshot.

Ok guys. This may be a little tough, so I'll give you a hint.
It was a cult hit on the GCN. Of course, most games were.

Woot!

I'm assuming partial screen shots are ok. Otherwise it wouldn't exactly be a mystery now would it.

Yes, partials are fine. In some cases, I agree, the full screen might make it too easy.
