Like a release date? If it is FE 1 or 3? Those kinds of things, this would be longer if my computer wasn't broken.

Oh most definitely! Go to http://serenesforest.net/ and click the Dark Dragon and Sword of Light (can't remember olol ) and look at the new pictures! Marth is a bit different and the release date is August 16, 2008 for Japan I believe?

From what Serenes says, it is a remake of the first game and not the third game. I'm disappointed that it doesn't appear to be a remake of FE3, but at the same time I'm just glad that the original FE will be playable in English, legally.

I finished this game for the first time today. It isn't my favorite in the FE series, but it isn't bad at all. I'd say it is probably the easiest one I have played overall, or that may just be the 3 years of FE fanaticism and a whole bunch of playthroughs. (I just counted: 35 playthroughs total!)

A couple of things bug me:
No Rescue option
The extras chapters are only available if you kill off most of your units
The battle animations are fluid, but the design is a little boring. All the Paladins look the same - exactly the same. The difference in the other classes is gender and hair color, plus they don't have faces.
No supports!

I do like:
The interface
The gameplay
The map sprites
The mugs are really nice
The music

The story seems so-so to me. It isn't bad but it doesn't feel as fleshed out as some of the other games in the series. I would have liked a little more character development. It does flow well and it moves fast. If one found oneself liking the gameplay but not all of the story-telling, this would be the game in the series for that person.

I haven't done any online battles yet, but I will be building a team soon. I'm looking forward to playing online. Hopefully I won't get schooled.
