It has gotten very dull to me... Horrible online (LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!), long loading times, and often dull matches (now that I have all the stages).
It just seems...the same old thing to me.

The game as a whole hasn't gotten dull to me. However, its online play has. I play Brawl a lot at a local LAN center, and it's a ton of fun. I still haven't gotten sick of it and usually there are always 4-player matches going on. Ever since I started playing Brawl in local multiplayer, I just can't stand the online (Wi-Fi) any more. The lag is horrible. Even the slightest bit of lag aggravates me. People tell me "the lag isn't that bad depending on the match" but I'm serious when I say even a delay of a quarter of a second will make me frustrated. I've gotten used to timing my moves exactly and when they don't happen when I press the button regardless of the duration of the delay, I get mad. So, I enjoy multiplayer matches if they're local, but I pretty much stopped playing Brawl on Wi-Fi. I like whipping the crap out of people with Zero Suit Samus.

Playing Merc the other night, I actually don't think the Wifi is all that bad. I mean it pales in comparison to Mario Kart, but I can adjust to everything just fine, even when a streak of bad lag hits, I'm usually the one who can adjust in time to make use of it.
It's true I haven't played the game toooooo much since Mario Kart and Wii Fit came out, but that's just the way I am, I switch to new games and put off the older ones until the new ones wear thin, where the old games now feel new again(sorta?). That, and even with Melee and the original, I just put off fighting games because that's more or less all they are, and I get bored doing the same thing over and over(just like I get tired of MKWii now and then because it's only a driving game, with very little else). Which is why I like games like Mario 64, since you could do so many different things at your own pace and explore things and whatnot.

I got bored of Brawl the first day I got it. Repetitive modes, much?!
I love playing online with friends, though! I'm ADDICTED EEEEEEEE!! But not solo play, ew, gross. Or "With Anyone" Brawl.
Unfortunately, it's the only game I have. Gotta deal with it.

Awww.. poor Merc, finally getting his game after people get bored...
I still enjoy Brawl. I'd play it more if I had the Wii in my room. My TV broke so I only really hook it up to the big screen in the family room.
Umm... I can't, and I have NEVER been able to, connect to anyone on "With Anyone" in Brawl. It refuses to work. Playing against friends works (sometimes), but with horrible lag.
If my opponents are in the same room, it's great. My siblings are funny and actually are a challenge some nights...

I've not played Brawl in a good few weeks, but dull? Nah.
It's how I've always played Smash games. There are periods when I play it a lot and periods when I don't. SSB is a franchise that lasts for me. I still play the original and Melee. They too have their periods of play.

It's not dull, I just get bored of playing it after 5 or so rounds whenever I turn it on.

lol i have to admit i played Melee a lot more than I have brawl... i dunno if it was cause i was younger and found it more entertaining, or if maybe it was cause i always had friends or someone over to play with... but the time i've put into Brawl pales in comparison to the time i invested on Melee... either way... i still play it as long as there is someone worthy of a good fight (not my sister, though i will play with her if she asks)

It was dull to me before, and I even considered it a piece of s*** compared to Melee. Recently though, I've gotten back into Brawl by playing my little sister and brother. This is the thing that was missing in Brawl for me as I came to realize. Though I don't use Samus as much as I do in Melee, I guess I'll admit she's not that bad in Brawl as I thought before (I still don't like the idea of ZSS though). Wario, Pit, MetaKnight, King Dedede, Ganondorf and Samus are awesome characters in Brawl. I laugh my butt off when I'm King Dedede and say that I'm going to own my little brother and sister when all I do is abuse the side C-stick move where Dedede slams his hammer down. Brawl feels brand new to me, so it's not dull to me now. Well strike that....I find my sister's to be dull since she abuses the down-B special move. Thunderbolt spammers=not cool

Brawl still hasn't gotten dull for me (and I don't expect it to).
That's partly because I still have finished the Subspace Emissary or unlocked everything, but it is also because I seem to be the only person who never has lag in Brawl.

I beat the whole thing with my brother, and played countless versus matches with friends. Online has terrible lag, and that is if I'm lucky enough to find someone to play against.
Yes. It's gotten dull. After unlocking every little secret, I feel done with it. Unfortunately, my friends don't, so I play it just to do something with them.
Nintendo missed out on a great opportnity. The Wii is online, and people would've jumped at the chance to buy downloadable characters, stages, and items. It would also keep the game fresh. Unfortunately, they don't have the infrastructure or memory space available.
