I only got about 18 hours into Disgaea 1 before I stopped playing it.

I couldn't get into the leveling system. I prefer FFT and FE.

I like to be able to play a game, and then be done with it for awhile. One could play Disgaea forever!

Are there any major differences between 1 and 2?

I've never played 1. I like playing it forever! (or 100 hours, whichever the case may be)

Pritty (Shroom) has though, he should be able to answer ya.
